We Guarantee Coverage

Caption Reporters has assembled a staff of professionally trained captioners to help our clients remain FCC compliant, and to cover other non-broadcast events.

We can also call on an on-deck team of professional captioners, so you'll be covered
24 x 7 x 365.

Our captioning staff can provide services at your location, or, using our Caption LinkTM system, from our CRI offices or from other remote locations.

Quality Control, Back-Up Systems, Signal Assurance

  • CRI maintains continuous engineering and IT support.


  • We have full redundancy in signal access and equipment.


  • All CRI production facilities are supported by an un-interruptible power supply to prevent problems associated with local power outages.


  • All CRI captioners maintain back-up captioning equipment in case of mechanical failure.


  • The CRI Caption LinkTM system operator monitors broadcast product and will switch to the back-up captioner should the on-air operator show signs of fatigue, equipment failure, or anything which compromises the quality of captions delivered to air.


  • Reserve team members are available for long duration projects.


  • The CRI Technical Operations employs a dedicated "live line" telephone number guaranteeing access to production and engineering personnel in the event of an emergency.
As a result, Caption Reporters, Inc. remains on-line and maintains an accuracy rate of 98+%.
