How do I purchase Earize services?
Go to our contact us page and call, write or fax us. In an emergency, feel free to call our emergency number even if we've never dealt with you before -- we're here to help.
What does it cost?
It depends on how long the event is and how big an audience you expect. But there are many other factors that influence cost.
Just to give you a ballpark cost figure, a half hour event could cost $200 for an audience of 1,000 and $1.39 for each additional 100.
Can the Earize text viewing client be customized even more than it presently allows?
Yes. We can customize the viewing client. The charges would be a one time programming fee and a reoccurring monthly fee based on your anticipated audience size. In all likelihood the reoccurring monthly fee will be waived on long-term contracts for events that reoccur on a daily or weekly schedule.
It's an emergency! We need to send text in an hour, can Earize help?
You can bet we'll try. And Earize won't take you to the cleaners either. Give us a call!
How about meetings, distance learning or note taking in the classroom?
Absolutely. Earize is a great way to make an event accessable as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We can even give you a transcript.
Can Earize make the Join Pages, Masthead, and Navigation HTML for us?
Yes. We work with a number of artists, writers and site builders.
What about foreign languages like Spanish?
Not at the moment. It's technically possible with Earize and we'd like to partner with someone that has the language savvy to make it happen.
However, we can "Earize" English from a translator.
What happens if we underestimate our audience size?
Odds are Earize will automatically accommodate the overflow. The audience overflow would cause the Earize server to open additional capacity and shed load.
In the event audience demand actually outstrips Earize, visitors who want to join the audience will be politely sent away with the "Session is not available" Join Page that you crafted. Earize will continue to serve the existing audience.
